Power went out last night (very rare around here) 3am back around 6am. "unplanned outage" == translate someone probably took out a power poll. Looking at the strange fog this morning guessing it was an "assistant" in the unplanned outage.

Going to check out someone's local stand - she calls it Farmacy -- should be interesting.
Then finish up Christmas-ing the house.

Good morning all. We had a beautiful trip, but it's good to be home.

The airline lost my husband's suitcase. So, we didn't make it home until a little before 3am. Hope they find it.

I need to get up and get some things done.

Up early -- 4 ish is my body's new thing Had breakfast. Had coffee. Placed a pickup order for feed. Once store opened & texted ready, I went for that, home & unloaded. Made sure I had hydraulic & oil for tractor, too. Stopped at ATM on way back. DS loaded some scrap metal & I took him to salvage that. It helped to remove some of his accumulated junk & gave him $

Warmer. Only a gentle breeze. I've got feed all in until after holidays. Some work to do outside a couple days. Feeling pretty relaxed.

Sipping coffee with eggnog. Checked out the little Farmacy stand. So cute. Bought a few things. This is just a little stand at someone's house. There are a lot of these around our town. Finding out about them is a treat. I wish there was a list or a chart of these fantastic little gems. Maybe I should think about putting one together. Got some things for DDIL and some for me. One a passion fruit lip balm - just tried it - wow, so smooth and silky not like the hardened chapstick we're all used to. Nice folks. Need to do more buy local -- thinking that's the same all over our small and agricultural towns.

I just realized something!

Coffee time always has me thinking about my day. Right now, after several accomplishments, I'm wondering why are the "gotta do" lists so long? And growing? Geesh.

I need the days to get longer, faster!!

Took 2 live traps to DD yesterday. This morning she has 2 possum in them. Will set again for tonight.

DS was fine tuning the timing on the tractor yesterday, after new injectors changed up the engine running. Hoping it was done so I can use it. That would make my day!! Sun is shining. It's a cool mid 40s but supposed to go upper 50s, no winds, would be perfect bush hog weather. I can only hope.
