The weekend arrives! I only know this because my phone says it's Saturday. I have a very short list. Larger feed trays in 2 coops. Yeah, can do. A longer check list of tractor "check fors".... Before another part buy I'm frustrated and annoyed.

However, my day has begun with hot coffee & pumpkin pie Proving there's still goodness in my life.

I woke up at 1:30. I made coffee, put a load of clothes in the washer. Somewhere around 6, I went back to sleep, just woke up again. Now I feel like crap. I gotta get it up and running.

Morning all. A low key Christmas. Hubbs is getting over his cold. I felt bad for a day then it passed. Heard from friends and kinfolk, all doing well or as well as can be expected given ages and or dispositions. No lambs yet but they should start any day. It looks like you all had happy, safe Christmases. Congrats on those bacon bits @Weldman. And kudos to us all for getting through another year. Edit first lamb of the ‘25 - ‘26 season. Big single Painted Desert, nice color, healthy.

Getting ready to head out to graze. Yesterday's predicted .55 inches turned into ..... .33 inches typical.
Looks like I may have a couple ewes that could lamb. Ram was pulled Oct 4 - so it could be quite awhile yet. No complaints. Have to figure when to haul the lambs that aren't spoken for up to the auction. Need to get weights on all of them first.
Nice sunny day 46-57 - just a weee bit higher than normal, but I'll gladly take that

Snowed overnight, we need it so badly. Family Christmas today, lovely that we get a white Christmas.
I got sick two weeks ago, and I am still not over it. I need to get over this crud before I go back to school.

Weather was 70s on Thursday, 40s yesterday, heading back up to 70s today, but forecast is for cold again Monday.
