Struggling with motivation for my treadmill this week. Only did 2 miles again this morning and hopped off. I'll see how many miles I can run after work on the work treadmill.
Up early enough to run more, so I think I'll go for a walk this morning and see about going to work early. Avalanche warnings for this area now, forecasts keep changing to predict snow for the next couple of days.
The weekend is almost here...

Morning everyone! Heading to Portland today. Chance of a little snow as we drive over Satus pass, but it shouldn't be too bad.

Need some tea so I'm awake enough to cut my husband's hair before we leave... don't want to nip his ear...I might or might not have done that in the past... I always ask him... with or without glasses?...lol

We are camping in our new to us Class A. Getting out the wrinkles, so to say. Lots of frustrating moments for hubs, but I'm writing down everything in a notebook, so we can fix/modify/etc before we leave for Arizona late next week.

Shake down cruise!! Fun!! I loved going places in our motor homes (though mostly just to dog shows and herding trials but there were some just go for fun trips as well). Enjoy!!!

Ah - crud, just talked to our butcher. As of the first he shut down his butcher business. Still does the kill/skin/gut and will deliver to another butcher. Sigh. Get to figure out a new butcher - will probably go with who he recommends. There are a lot out there that aren't great and from what I've heard one may not get the same animal that they started with.

So sorry to hear this. We've had this happen a few times over the last decade. So frustrating. We've experienced not getting our animal back too. We now have to drive our carcass an hour to get it hung, cut n wrapped properly. We bought a walk in off craigslist some months ago to set up here and start learning how to cut n wrap ourselves. Didn't get a chance to pour the slab before we bought our new home. The cost has gotten ridiculous and we can't stand plastic wrapping anyways. Probably going to sell the locker before we leave here. Very big chunk of a load if we take it. Not sure it's worth it. May or may not replace in MO. We're looking at the original hidey hole in the basement as the new locker.

Good morning all!
Got a call from the dairy. They had a big bull calf last night. Yay! 1 down, 1 to go for a few weeks. Will pick him up this evening most likely.
Today I'm going for lunch and a pedicure with my SIL. She's finally getting around to taking me for my birthday. It only took almost 7 months.
I prayed on what God had in mind for this feral kitty. I suspect I got my answer this morning. Went back on the barn camera and watched when DH fed her and sure enough he reached right in an pet her. I didn't see him pull his arm out or a stump at any point. I'll find out how she did when he gets up but I suspect from what I could see on camera she's a candidate for a home. If anyone can tame a feral it's him.
Think that's about it for now. SIL just text wanting to know if I wanted to have lunch first. Probably do that since I"m up early anyways. Won't be long and we won't be able to get together like this anyways.
