More lambs and another suspicious Moses vicinity death. And a bottle lamb- one of the triplets. I’m giving her Auntie Bay’s milk recipe. Moses, Moses what is going on with you? You’ve been through two lambings with no problems. You’re well fed. Damn there are days when you wish they could talk.
:hu

I'm so sorry. I don't know what else to say.

Wills, trusts, I’ve been there and done that. RR you have my sympathy. These kinds of things either bring out the worst or best in people. My unsolicited advice for anyone is get end of life things discussed and arranged before things change.

Nothing brings out "bad" more than wills/trusts any inheritance. Tensions flare -- and the decision was made by the deceased, so no help there! 😶😱
I really had no idea. The people who have become a problem I never thought would have issues. I didn't see it coming. It really comes down to they are control freaks and assumed we would just let them have control. So many bad things have happened and been said there's no fixing it. The things they are doing now are just to keep certain family turned against us. We've been so transparent from the start. All books are open to anyone who wants to see what's going on. Nope. Not one person has asked yet went to the attorney demanding accounting because we are doing things shady. What's "funny" is they got far less information from the accountant than they would have had they just looked at the finances. It's just awful all the way around. So much has come to light it's just heartbreaking. I just pray it's finally over soon and am looking forward to moving on (literally) and never having to see or speak to any of them again. They've shown their colors.

Thank you. I've never had to deal with anything like this before. When family (on my side) has passed before everything was so set in stone and no one contested anything or caused trouble. I truly didn't see this coming. Hopefully won't make that mistake again. Now we need to decide how we will write our stuff up. Guarantee those involved will get nothing from us in the future.

Best of luck with everything RR, sorry that's all happening.

It's Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had no idea I would get so wildly excited to go to the post office (I don't have a physical mailbox) but that's this stage of life, and I will walk to the post office after work today.
Maybe I am more excited that I am committed to being done at work before the post office closes. I've eaten dinner at work twice this week, I love work, I don't mind why I am doing that, but part of me wouldn't mind eating dinner at home some days.
Candled some chicken eggs yesterday, 5 out of 12 look really good. Feel like that's good for a random group of eggs this time of year.

Good morning. Have been sipping coffee but not had breakfast yet. Chicken waterers were frozen, had to break ice in the rubber tubs and refill with fresh water. I cooked another roast overnight, letting the cooker cool down. I will divvy it up shortly into individual dinners and freeze for later.

My toes are cold.

Our local forecast overnight was for a low of 22°, calm wind. At 10pm I walked my dog to the sound of roaring in the tall treetops, gusts at least in the 20 mph range, probably more. Oh, and it was 19° at 8am. Weather apps
Twenty miles per an hour, that's a gentle breeze here :gig

"blowin in the wind"...ain't that the truth!! Our winds yesterday were strong, steady & cold. Not AS severe as yours but comparatively as such for my area. Just a half hr outside & you wanted no more of it!! But I stayed out to be sure animals were ok and even nailed a large tarp in it -- wind tunnel eliminated! I couldn't enjoy your extremes there.😵‍💫

Up at 3, again...but went back to sleep on the couch about 4:30 where I slept a few more hrs👍 No one else here to be bothered or complain, so it's fine.

Now it's up to 22* out there at 10am. Goats must wonder where I am. 😂 Better get moving & serve their breakfast. Text says my feed order is ready for pick up, so that will be my next chore of the day. I'm pretty sure there's ice on the troughs but, I'll dip from the big heated one I filled & plugged in last night. Winter!!! Go away. 😖
