Follow up to my Social Security (SSA) Story...

...my prescription plan company contacted me. SSA informed them that they were no longer deducting my plan premium, that the plan company needed to bill me. The prescription plan company wants to send me envelopes for monthly payments. That's a check and a stamp in additional expense and aggravation for a $3/month premium.


So, because some imbecile at SSA entered my bank information incorrectly I have now devoted 3+ hours trying to fix their error, and the domino effect is continuing.

I'd send the RX plan $36 for the yr & be done. Unless the reason is due to check being returned to SSA. ,

Unfortunately my old place became a rental and either through neglect or ignorance the asparagus, blackberries and most of the fruit trees are gone. Chicken house torn down. No animals are kept there and the pasture appears to have been sprayed with some kind of kill-all herbicide. It was supposed to be subdivided into six lots but there is some problem with access and with installing septic systems. It may be incorporated into a nearby town but locals are fighting that because of taxes. One neighbor is an untidy scrapper and others are gun nuts. A big headache for the developer who bought it. We had a lot of good times at that place but when it was time to go it was time to go.

I pay mine once a year.... beginning of the coverage... and the last 2 years they sent me letters saying there was no charge for the plan.... so I called them to make sure I was covered due to the rules of the fines if you do not have coverage... and they said no, there was no charge and that I was covered.... I never hardly have used it for anything anyway.... so that is fine... But I was paying once a year and done with it...

Did SSA get the numbers right finally?????

The SSA rep said it's fixed, that they already had the correct routing number in my account. He seemed puzzled over why they used the wrong bank.

I did this to myself... The need to watch Olympics at 3 AM...
Quiet empty gym waiting for me so I don't have to run circles around town.
Kids have basketball tonight, guessing it'll be close to 12 hours at work today plus the gym there this morning. Just got baby chicks, I'll try and get some pictures today.

This morning it's mid 50s at wake up
And tax refund in bank. Coffee is great. Good day so far.

Now I'll call insurance road service to tow my car home. Didn't even think of that last night. Just as well, wouldn't have wanted to wait as I was tired from working all day. Before bed, thinking of getting it home, it hit me -- you have that covered by insurance, DUH!! Then only concern will be "what's wrong?". I'm ok with that part -- have my truck....no rush, I'm not stranded.

Will do feeding chores, get car home, then go to work.

Coffee is ready, on second cup. Cream and buckwheat honey, YUM! Pain pills are kicking in, it's 60 degrees with high of 74 today. Yesterday I took the plastic tray out of the large dog crate, still smeared with lamb poop, and scrubbed it outside. I dried it with paper towels and put it back in the dog crate. I walked to the gate of the front field and the ewes came running off the field, BAA BAA BAAAA BAA BAAAA! They hung around the gate and i reached through and petted some of them. I think they miss me. I petted Buford and Sheba and went back to the house. I swept the filthy floors. Just that little bit, I was paying for it by evening and this morning.
