Up at 2 with Bay! Got up, played solitaire, back to bed at 4 & up at 8:30...geesh!! It'll kill our day now. I just got a cup of my fresh pot -- wow! Stronger than wanted. Ran some more water thru there...prob way more than @fuzzi strong

It's raining lightly, most all day. Getting weather advisories for "winter weather", slick roads, etc. from overnight lows on this rain. It's probably not bringing snow this far SE, although the system is dropping pretty far south into VA. Looks like @farmerjan is on the edge of it, might get flurries. More than likely just cold rain. @rachels.haven & @GLENMAR is likely going to see some snow. This should be the last of winter white

You guys out west -- sorry but you get winter all year.

My animals are wondering why room service is late. They won't starve. Just have an attitude. No sympathy. Hmmmm. Might as well have a 2nd cup.

I had ambitions last night that I would be running before church this morning. 5 am me who hadn't slept, disagreed.

Think I might go feed chicks and then head over to church. I'll run mid afternoon instead. A Yellowstone sunrise would've been pretty, but I'll still go and enjoy my afternoon views.

Not snowing today, but a couple more days of snow in our forecast, and I love that!

My dh's coworker was arrested during his shift. He hit a deer, took it home, and didn't report it to the state (SC). They found out, came and got him at the plant. I don't see the logic behind that law.

We aren't allowed to take any animals we hit. For a state that "prides" itself on being all about recycling etc. it has always blown my mind they'd rather let a carcass rot and haul it off instead of feeding people.
Crazy someone must have reported him.

I believe their reasoning is so that people won't intentionally hit an animal out of season, without having a license to hunt. So stupid, who's going to wreck their car to hit an animal on purpose. Can't let the peasants take the kings deer, without paying for it. More government overreach.

Got the dead boar out finally, wife hooked onto it as I winched it out with the ATV. Not pushing myself too hard today, save it up for warmer day tomorrow and the wife isn't seeing what I'm doing.
Just think 15' of stairs at 69° to climb to get up to our living area with two legs mauled by a boar and still going, yeah not going to stop me.
Today is more of a mental break after the night before being woken up every 2 hours to be poked, prodded or scanned.
Tomorrow I will fire the excavator up and proceed forward after a few things done in town.
