Up with coffee. Slept hard but longer would have been great. Heading out in a few for teed chores & weak kid check. Have to go to work today, didn't yesterday -- wouldn't have been worth a darn. No sleep & livestock needs really take a toll. 😵‍💫 Hope both of us doing better today!

@Baymule hope your consult goes well & they can schedule you soon. Time stretches badly with treatments now days. Its depressing.

Like a custody battle on reality TV with temperatures here and they are fighting over who gets winter and who gets spring. Was a nice 67°F yesterday and without no warning what so ever we got snow of 3 inches this evening coming. Don't worry it will be 72°F come Sunday.

This was at your house? Sorry you had to have your house torn into. But isn't it amazing what bees can do when they're not confined to a hive box.
It was at our old house. Big huge A-frame type windows in the front. Hundreds of bees managed their way into the house -- but they wanted out and would fly into the windows kamikaze style. A lot of vacuuming their carcasses up. They'd get into the bbq and smoker as well. Haven't had that problem here thank God. Just the dying ground on the front concrete driveway.

Good night y'all! :frow
Just getting things wrapped up a bit for the night. Made really good progress this afternoon on taxes since I wasn't sleeping. :cafMilked for the house and got some carrot tops and beet tops processed and in the freeze drier after DH left for work. Will get the carrots and beets steamed tomorrow. Too tired tonight to deal with it.
Have a really good time watching the camera's tonight at the house. I've never seen lightening like what I'm watching. Really wish we were there watching it for real. 2 camera's are now down. a 3rd was down earlier but came back a little bit ago. Not sure it's working right though. The camera with the best view of the sky was the first one to go down early this morning. Bummed about that. Earlier in the evening the deer were grazing in the driveway. Was quite the sight watching the lightening off in the distance with the deer grazing. The clouds were so amazing when the lightening would light everything up. It eventually got close enough they decided it was probably time to take cover in a hurry. 😂 Sure am looking forward to being there and getting settled in. I've never seen lightening that is back to back and lasts more than a few minutes. This is wild. Looks like quite a bit of rain with it. Definitely need to get a rain gauge up next trip in camera view if possible.
Nothing else exciting for the day/night so far. Very thankful for that. One more day then it's our weekend. Hoping to finish getting the trailer packed up this weekend. It's pretty close already but I want to pack more boxes from the house and get it even more full. I think the plan is going to be as soon as the cow and heifer calve I'm going to get on the road. That way we are sure everything is ok and DH isn't having to handle a bunch of things he normally doesn't do on top of all the extra work plus his job while I'm gone. I'm really anxious to get another load gone. We need to get this done. I'm feeling the stress of it dragging on. I have to be back for our taxes apt and the jersey's calving then once the jersey's squared away I can take another load. At that point it should go far faster. I should be able to do back to back loads finally.
Think I'm going to get offline for the rest of the night. I hope y'all have a great day! :hugs
I lived in Missouri for a short time when I was in the 4th grade. I witnessed the most spectacular lightening storm. An old man that had lived there his entire life said he'd seen some amazing storms over the years, but he'd never seen one like that before. I'll never forget it. It was actually quite terrifying, I crawled into bed with my parents and that's where I stayed...lol

We saw another phenomenon when we were there. We were driving, I think it was near Springfield. It was raining and then it started raining tiny frogs, they were bouncing off the hood of the car, craziest thing I've ever seen.

I hope everything comes together as planned for your next trip. Home is getting closer. 💞

I've read about raining frogs, they get sucked up into the clouds.
