I've read about raining frogs, they get sucked up into the clouds.

I've always felt so bad for the frogs we saw, but at the same time, thankful that I was able to witness it.

Thank you for sharing the article. That was interesting. It really is something amazing to see.

March is here and today is a day to be inside. 20-30mph winds today and then 10-20mph for the next week or so. We did get to enjoy 2 days of March with no wind. The wind is why I enjoy Fall more than Spring in our area... it blows hard in the Spring.

We need to get back to work on the bathroom anyway, but we sure have enjoyed the past week of perfect Spring weather. It was good to be outside.

Have a lovely day all! 💞

Morning all. I thought raining frogs was an old wive’s tale exploited by horror authors on occasion. I have seen tadpoles (big ones) in seasonal potholes in the Nebraska Sandhills miles away from sustainable water. I wonder if windmill driven stock tanks are a link. Easy morning and my drama queen feet didn’t give me trouble. Bottle lamb is in the safe pen with Leo who’s thoroughly disappointed with the situation. Moses did a brief walkabout swim then barked to be let back in the yard. Aside from a few minutes in the neighbor’s pond he is on our land when out. Going to hike again to search for the get out spot. Probably a hole. Got skunked on rain last night but more is expected. Good luck @Baymule.

Thank God it doesn't really rain cats and dogs!

Kill it!!!!!!!
;)

I don't like bullfrogs, they eat all the other frogs and tadpoles, small birds, goldfish in my ponds. I used to have treefrogs singing love songs at night, but the %$#@! bullfrogs ate them, and their tadpoles. Last year I removed close to 20 bullfrogs from my two 100 gallon ponds.

Taking a break. It's 77°, cloudy, with a light breeze. I've been doing outside work.

I cleaned up around the raised beds, then under the roost in the second coop. I weeded one garden bed, will be adding the coop debris to the bottom next.

Caleb is learning to be patient while I'm doing stuff.
