I agree with you. The computer I'm using on the forums is a lenux converted computer. Has blockers etc to stop tracking. Only thing that can track is if I log into accounts like Scamazon or the likes because of course you can't stop them from tracking but this computer helps for sure. It blew my mind finding out how much tracking is done online. You can use Brave as your web browser and it will help identify and block tracking. It shows you how many it's blocked too. Scary stuff.
I use Brave and my Android phone. My laptop was on Windows 7, not powered it up in...maybe three years?

I don't want a cloud based computer.

My mother called those "mental health days".
:pop
Every time I say this, it sounds stupider, but whatever- I am taking two personal days, that I can use for whatever I want, because my students are playing basketball out of town. The students I normally teach, and spent the last two months making all their home games, and traveling a couple of hours to most of their away games, I am taking time off work to watch play more basketball.
However, I do get to make a trip out of this and go enjoy some luxuries of a big (all relative) city, like Target and Starbucks, and just leaving the bubble I live in.

Your flower graveyard?
Yeah, it's a place in my front yard that I put up cow panels around to keep the sheep from eating it. I let them in the fenced front yard to eat the grass, so at least I don't let the sheep eat it down. I have 2 crepe myrtles, iris, canna lillies and day lillies. Those are self care, and they survive my neglect. And lots of weeds. Only the strong survive.

I;m kinda feeling sorry for the flower graveyard and feel like I should go pull weeds with a shovel, but I'm incapacitated and can't. Maybe in the fall. After getting 3 1/4" of rain yesterday, now would be a good time to pull weeds but I'll just look at it and feel sorry for the plants.

I can send you some if you need more. Mine need to be split I am sure. When my partner's Mom died (she loved Iris)
I dug up around 200 of them from her place and moved them from Kentucky to our farm in Virginia. This was
16 years ago. I have not split them since.
What color do you have? I only have yellow ones. Iris can survive my neglect, so I am a big fam of them. LOL

Winds gusting over 70 mph today followed by a foot of snow tomorrow with winds around 50 mph when that hits. Yeah it's going to drift like a mf'er closing down the roads into town.
I would get my 5 ton ready out to pull people out, but if you look outside your door, behold the field which I grow my f*cks, lay thine eyes upon it and that it is barren.
