Keeping a cup of coffee down, after puking from leaving the hospital at noon, until 11 last night. I do have a plastic pitcher to throw up in just in case..... Maybe I'll try to eat something and take a pain pill. My tummy is sore but not unbearable. No picking up anything over 5 pounds. Down for SIX WEEKS. Son is staying at night, just in case I need him. I don't ever want to do this again.
:hugs :hugs :hugs

Good afternoon all! :frow
Currently 93* outside. 80* in the house. Really hard to sleep as if it's easy without the heat.
Have oils and butters melting to make DH his favorite soap. Hardly need the heating pot with how hot it is in the house. 🥵 Once they are all melted then cooled back down a little bit I'll add the rest of the ingredients and get it molded. First time I've done a double batch at the same time of this one. Hopefully I don't regret that decision. It's a soap that can come to trace very quickly. Hopefully a double batch will get him through the rest of the move and give me time to get things unpacked a bit before he want's more. There's other soaps but this one is his favorite. Especially in the heat.
On the cow/calf front the newest sick calf is doing great. I think he's on the mend. Will keep them in a few more days to be sure he's good to go then move them back out to pasture. Beef is night and day from dairy. That's for sure. The dairy graft calf is still flirting with being sick. I've still got her stable for the moment but it's a struggle. I'll be very glad when the jersey heifer calves and we can get her on her and in a proper area.
That's about it for now. Time to go finish making soap. Will check in later I'm sure.
Y'all have a fantastic evening! :hugs
