Swimming is the best for the joints. My knees always had issues, and one hip needed replacement before I was 50, but I still can swim.

Gotta try it! I've forgotten what quiet really is.
Nope!My question is after 44.5 years shouldn't one have built up an immunity?

I'm so sorry to read this. I'll pray for a speedy passing of your unwelcome guests.Good ::looks at clock:: morning!
Woke up at 4am with a familiar ache starting in my low back. Yep, kidney stone. It took about five hours to move to a less painful position. DS walked Caleb and I fed the ferals on the steps. I'll check on the flocks in a little bit, need to move. I am thankful that every ks I've experienced has been less than a 12 hour ordeal. Ron had them and they'd last for weeks!
What is quiet? I've forgotten too. I'm unsure if the bassing music is in my head or outside at this point. Often it's louder than the ringing in my ears.Gotta try it! I've forgotten what quiet really is.

A beautiful but a bit too large bull calf for a jersey heifer. Helped her just a little bit to have it. It's hot and she was struggling. Didn't want her to get too exhausted or over heated since she's not out on green pasture right now. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed but he's nursed some. I'll milk the back two quarters this evening and put colostrum away for later use. I'll rotate the last one out and use it for us then keep hers for any emergencies we may have. I've moved the two grafts over but not put them in with her yet. It's hot and they nursed the temporary mom not long before moving them over. Hopefully I don't regret the decision and end up with a fight on my hands grafting them. I just got the smaller of the two stabilized and getting stronger as of yesterday. I'm hoping to somehow keep her from relapsing. Not likely to succeed but I'm going to try. The faster everyone gets settled in and healthy the faster I can get on the road.
Going to start preparing for my trip. Making sure we have enough feed for everyone prepped and ready for DH to take care of the critters. I'm feeling excited but trying to keep that contained at the moment as I know what dairy cows/calves have in store for me.
Time to go check on the new family.I have to ask my husband if he hears the same thing I'm hearing, because I'm not sure if it's an actual sound or not. Sometimes it's an actual sound, but not always.I'm so sorry to read this. I'll pray for a speedy passing of your unwelcome guests.

I have a non stop ringing in my ears. It never goes away. Oddly enough when I leave CA the non stop bassing music stopsI have to ask my husband if he hears the same thing I'm hearing, because I'm not sure if it's an actual sound or not. Sometimes it's an actual sound, but not always.
