Good afternoon all! :frow
It's a decently day today so far. 87* currently. Might stay under 90* today. Maybe.
Been working on putting together my vitamins and supplements in prep for my next run home. Sometimes making them seems to take minutes. Sometimes it seems to drag on. Still have a couple to make but I'll do it tomorrow maybe. Working on getting things together so once I'm sure I can go I won't have much to do to get out of here.
All the calves nursed this morning. I love that her response to "stop" nursing is to lay down. That's pretty funny. I'm good with it right now. Keeps the two older calves from overeating as much. Need to do a scour check here in a bit and see if anyone has an upset tummy. I saw this morning that the two heathens started nursing her after she laid down. 😂Persistent little brats. They didn't seem to nurse long but they did get some so they may be over eating a little bit. Going to turn out the previous heifer and her two calves now that she's off duty for the two newest grafts. That will be a good bit off the feed bill for a while. She'll probably get reduced in grain too. The grass has nutrition at the moment. Won't for long but we'll take every break we can get. I think when I get back home I'll try and find some feed to bring back to CA since I'll have an empty trailer. Maybe save some $ on feed for the remainder of the time we're here. I am happy to say the tax lady said we can write off the fuel expenses for taking the ranching stuff to MO. That's a bit of a relief. We can't write off the non ranch trips fuel but we can write off any ranch related trips fuel. :yesss:We'll take it.
Still waiting to hear from the tax lady. I'm not looking forward to what she's going to have to say. Oh well. It will be done and I can stop thinking about it and get onto moving.
Well I need to get eggs on to boil so I can make DH his deviled eggs. I was supposed to make them yesterday but the cow happened and that took priority.
Y'all have a fantastic evening! :hugs

Every trip would be a farm/ranch stuff trip....... Went to look at some cattle in VT everytime DS went to visit his grandparents, and went to the other friend further north who we did haul cattle for several times... brought home a bale wrapper one time, a small 2 ton truck with a dump body another time... FARM RELATED....
As long as you take farm related stuff, everything else that "rides along" gets the benefits.

You sound like me. Going to town for anything, yep tax write off and I'm driving my billboard to town too, I mean my truck that has my business information on it.
My problem is I have more tax write offs than I have income to tax

Good morning! Wide awake at 3 AM....... I'm not doing enough to be "tired". Just bored. Can't pick up anything over 5 pounds. There is nothing in my environment that is 5 pounds, so I sit here useless. I can feed the dogs and Max the horse and that's about it. Counting down the days until I can go for my check up at the surgeon. Don't worry, I'm not going to bust outa the chute like a rodeo horse, I'll take it easy and be careful.

No kidney stone pain this morning, thank God!
:celebrate

Anectdotal:
7pm - pain increasing, I took 2 arnica, no difference noted in 60 minutes

8pm - pain getting bad, I took 3 uribel (my uti preventative) and slathered the area with DMSO

Pain lessened within 15 minutes!
:bow

Found out later that my church family was praying for me as well.
:love

I am thankful, truly thankful.

I've made coffee and fed the ferals. Now I'm taking Caleb ouside for a yard walk.
