Stopped at a gas station for a quick break going through Wyoming. Found a sweatshirt I really wanted to buy, but they only had XL, I'd be swimming in it...lol
I think @Weldman needs one.

Thank you!I know that town!
I've seen quite a few similar shirts in shops around here. A few might've made good Christmas presents for my family.
Glad you made it home safely!
I never do that. But my fancy watch tells me the temperature outside, and it said 5... So no real reason to get up.Enjoy your free day! Bonding time sounds good with those temps...lolI slept till 8:15I never do that. But my fancy watch tells me the temperature outside, and it said 5... So no real reason to get up.
Debating what I could/should do this morning. Saturdays (or any day really) free is a rarity for me. I could go into Yellowstone for fun... but there's a ton of snow on the road, so I might hold off a bit.
Maybe the couch and I will have some bonding time while I decide what to do, and while the weather thinks about warming up.

and we're in ban on non containerized burn. Soooo, 100 acres later, 0ver 60 firefighters from several districts had it contained. They charged him with "careless damage by fire".

Praise the Lord for safe travels! Glad you are home safely.Morning all! Got home yesterday. Did a walk about to check on everything. Chickens all accounted for, looks like blocking the fence has kept my wandering hen in place... crazy girl. I didn't count the bees, but looks like we still have a lot of them...lol We'll be doing hive inspections today or tomorrow. Some of the new trees we planted are growing, some are not. We'll give them a little more time. Need to mow the lawn, that definitely grew.
There's no place like home! Have a lovely day!![]()
Glad it’s better now. That doesn’t sound like a good part of the trip. Hope you have no more pain from it.So decided to share a bit more about our travel adventures.
What an adventure we had. The wind wasn't too bad across Wyoming, even though they said it would be. We drove through a snowstorm in Ogden. Got to our hotel, went down to sit in the hot tub. Hubs bumped my foot and dislocated my little toe. I've had this happen before, but this time I couldn't pop it back into place. Wound up going to the emergency room. Dr says we can do this two ways. I can just pull it, or we can give you a shot. It was hurting so bad, I said I'd like a shot. He says, it will be a shot in your toe...I don't think he'd let someone do that to him...lol Hubs says, it will be over quick. So, I said, okay just pull it. He couldn't get it to pop back in either. Now it was really hurting. So, a shot it is, but it's actually two shots. He starts to wipe it with something. I ask if he has some cold numbing spray... that's a good idea...you think. So, numbing spray, two shots, pull, a small pop, still can't get it all the way back in place. He thinks it's probably back in place, I can see it's not. He says let's wait a bit and see how it's doing. He leaves, I'm not waiting, I start working on it. I don't want another shot. After a few moments, I get it back into place. I felt silly about going to the ER, until the Dr couldn't even fix it. Anyway it's all better now... what an adventure...lol
