What makes them hard to fish for? Regulations?

Trout, you have to walk to a stream and then STAND THERE, who knows how long, before you get one.

Salmon fishing... you check the tide chart, then walk to the river, put your net in, and haul them out with the net. Within a couple of hours you have 20 or more fish. And usually you also get a few flat fish too for variety.

You definitely get a different result between a net and a line & hook.

I think you are right on my instincts. I declined their help because of it. The whole thing just felt dishonest. Don't feel like he (maybe they?) can be trusted. The conversation has bothered me today.

Your "at home now" post sounded so much better than your "traveling post". Enjoy the feeling and the pride in what you've accomplished so far!

As the day has gone on things feel more and more real. Having things mowed really makes it look so much better and feel better. Tomorrow I'll go buy the weed eater and get that going between storms. 6 hours of mowing today and got it all done just in time. Got a sunburn though. Don't have to worry about that on nights.

DH informed me tonight he wants me to swap my crafting room with the spare bedroom. He say's I need more space so I need the bigger room. So the spare bedroom will get moved and be the spare bedroom/office in the smaller room and what is currently the spare bedroom will become my new crafting room. I love that man. Sure do miss him.

I'm on BYC, too, I just followed you over there.

But I like it better here, for a more personal and less judgemental experience.

I'm on BYC too. Have been for a while. Rarely go on anymore though. Partly for the same reasons. I LOVE it here. I hardly visit any of the other forums I'm on anymore since joining here.

Both eggs hatched today. No pics yet...hard to hold up & fight off a ninja hen & hold a phone too prob tmrw. They're both black. BYM

Did my aquarium water changes last night, going to give the dirty water to some of my plants after double-checking for fish or snails inadvertantly removed.

My friend has another chemo appointment this morning, going to meet her, bring some eggs and Nabs, she loves Nabs.

Coffee made, chickens and ferals fed, now headed out for a ride/walk.

It stopped snowing! For only a few minutes, but hey it stopped for a second. Really just winter deciding that it wasn't strong enough this year, and now that we think its spring, its going to actually snow.

Off to a track meet again today, got an energy drink waiting for me downstairs!

@Weldman you might enjoy the Dresden Files books. I found audiobooks on YouTube. James Marsters does the best read. The short lived tv show was not true to the books and should be treated as separate.
