@RR Homestead you said your neighbor's wife only speaks Russian. Wonder if there is also a cultural difference going on re the son and what he thinks is ok. And since that conversation is still ping ponging in your mind your gut is talking! Trust yourself first (I know you are).

My DIL works at a hospital in Enid. Thankfully they live an hour away. She got called in. One of the surgeons she works with, lost his house and his dogs...
This is on my wishlist. I've seen several different books and was really leaning towards this one. Thank you for sharing this!Good morning!

Father made it pretty clear son's intentions by his comments. That's why it's not sitting right with me. Before talking to them we figured the son was looking for the previous owners and didn't know they'd sold. That's not the case at all. He admitted he knew the place sold. He said no one was there so he was looking around. Explains why he was so embarrassed when he was caught. Today I told DH they aren't welcome here. I just can't trust that the son won't see something he wants and come get it if he thinks we aren't here. Trusting myself but also trying not to hold CA worries on everyone here. In this case he was clearly up to no good.

A lovely Sat morning is here. Weekend at home. I stopped & got a can of gas for the mower on my way home from work yesterday. I'll get yard mowed late afternoon. It's too dampish now, esp with it being tall. I'll get it bagged & dumped for chickens, goats, etc. If dry I can use baggers on the mower! 58* now but mid 80s later, so expect dry!
Even had breakfast this morning -- another cuppa & I'll be outside to make today count for farm work needed. Job work looks less intense for coming week. Hope to be home Fri for any "prep" to be able to leave early sat morn for Gilmanor meet up. Need to leave by 5:30-6
2 hr drive. Tight parking close in.
