Coffee anyone ?

Morning all. Severe storms last night. I let all the dogs in because of the hail forecast. It took time for everyone to settle down. The hail didn’t materialize for us and we got an inch and 3/4 of rain. Quite a lightning show too. I haven’t seen local damage reports but there were 3 tornadoes a couple of counties north of us. There is a cat that loiters on our eastern fence line. That could be the reason for the walkabouts lately. I wish the dogs would leave it alone. Do any LGDs coexist with cats? I’ve never gotten that to work and end up with former cats. :( Have a safe day and mind the weather it’s “spicy” to quote a local weatherman.

Good morning!

This popped up on my suggested feed, I've gotten good information from this channel before:

On our way to the lake to catch some fish. Hubs is driving, what am I doing, shopping... just ordered this. Thank you again. This helped me decide to go ahead and buy this book.

We've tried to stay with traditional AU Cattle Dog names and even Western names. This one told me her name was Poppy. She turned two on March 16th. The man who sold her said she was too nice for his needs. Yup - she's a love.
I love her name and she's really beautiful. Glad she's a sweetheart! 💞

My fancy rose bloomed! After a year of being stepped on by dogs, the cable guy, nibbled to the graft by rabbits and presumed dead at least twice it bloomed. :celebrate I think the variety is Scentimental.

Saturday morning we left early, at the farmers' market before 8. Then I did a well over one mile walk with Caleb at the park. He was more reactive this morning, but did settle down.

I left him at home while I ran over to Aldi's, as I needed to return a can of pumpkin that was not expired, but bulging slightly. They didn't have any more cans on the shelves, but I got my refund, then picked up some grapes, and a half price loaf of whole wheat bread for DF. And grabbed some small produce boxes for Caleb, as he likes to rip them up.

They're still predicting rain tonight, tomorrow morning. I'll believe it when my rain gauge measures it. Filled the bird baths earlier while checking on Lois and her four eggs.
:jumpy

Well, today did not go as planned. I think we have some bad gas or some water in the tank. I finally got it running at high RPM's, but could not keep it running at idle speeds. Had it going at home yesterday. So, we're on our way home. Hubs is so disappointed. We haven't been able to fish on opening day for the last few years.

We'll probably dump some HEET into it and see if that does the trick. If not, we'll have to drain it and refill. If we can get it going we'll head back tomorrow.
