Morning all. Temps aren’t out of the upper 50’s and a light rain all morning. I got a late start with tomato planting and my seed starts looked awful, poor little things. All stem and a couple of leaves on each. I planted them in containers with soil from near the gap of Rohan amended with cured (and some uncured thanks Hubbs) sheep manure. Three days later the tomats are growing by leaps and bounds. I cheated and bought 2 plants at the store but that means my growing season will last longer. Lord willing and it doesn’t hail. I’m late late with my runner beans who don’t appreciate heat. Blue lakes should be ok. If the rabbits don’t come calling too often. Honestly I have no idea why the pioneers didn’t starve. I’m off to build a scarecrow (for rabbits so a scram-bit?)

My coffee pot is empty-- I better get moving-
Counting my many Blessings, On this day in 2024 we were in the ER for 9 hours, PTL I have have been given my DH for 2 more years. It has been a very stressful 2 years. We are still not treating him with traditional oncology. I know he is in the Lords hands and I say yes Lord to what ever comes and put my trust in Him, but my heart is still ,,, heavy.


Its still very cool in the morning [49] for A.M. coffee on the porch BUT, soon it will be just right


I'll be outside all day, weed and seed and move garlic and add/ sprinkle Territorial's Complete Fertilizer since I am out of finished compost. and then mow in the garden grass. I got the yard mowed last evening.

Cold, damp morning. Took Caleb and coffee for a ride, chose to run errands before a walk. Went to Habitat for Humanity and found a used soccer ball for Caleb. That was great timing, as he recently deflated the one I bought in November.

Then it started to rain despite the "no rain" forecast, so we skipped the walk. Caleb's been napping at my feet since we got home. I believe last night's dog gathering wore him out!

Car packed for tomorrow, minus lunch.

Well, I fell asleep after midnight. And I need to run this morning before I get other things done.
It's a beautiful morning, I have a Red Bull next to me, I should probably go enjoy the day.
Oh and hope that I remember that I need to go feed some chickens.
