Whenever I have tried FB Marketplace or CL the stupid questions got me aggravated, especially "what's the lowest price you take?" No, it doesn't work that way, if you want to buy it for less make a counter offer. If it's been sold take down the ad or edit it with "sold". It's not rocket sciece, people

I had someone yesterday drag on a conversation for a $750 walk in fridge box only to ask if I would take $200. Another person was just trying to walk away with an already dirt cheep livestock feeder for almost 1/2 what I listed it for.
I do have someone coming in a few minutes for one of the feeders. Hope they take it. Getting down to slim pickings around here for feeders etc.

I hate trying to sell things. I'd rather give it to friends or someone that I knew really needed it and would appreciate the gift. But moving is such a huge expense, every little bit helps. Good luck!

I do too. I wish there was an auction I could sell it all at but there's not anymore. Every bit helps for moving expenses so I'm trying to get as much gone as possible. If I have to take a few things and sell them there I guess I will but I'm hoping not. I'll drop prices as time goes on but I do already have everything priced low.

It is fair but it is just the box itself not the cooler part. It needs a coolbot and wall shaker unit to keep cool. I paid what I'm asking for it and I had to fight for it and beat other buyers to it. I just want what I paid for it back. Nothing more.

Just got off the phone with the owner of the stock yard. We'll see how it goes come wednesday. He says the market is holding so far and there's a huge demand for grass fed heifers right now so he thinks we can get at least $3 a pound for them and pairs are high still too. I've written up their breeding since it's all AI and guys seem to like that. Also that they just haven't been exposed but are cycling. The group of heifers was up at the gate so I went ahead and brought them in. I'll run them through tonight and get them prepped for leaving tomorrow. Still need to get in the pairs but I'm hoping they will come up for water this evening and make it easier for me. Holstein steers are already ready to ship so should be able to finish things tonight and be ready to haul out tomorrow when DH wakes up before work.
Sold another feeder this afternoon from CL. The numbers of feeders are dwindling. Going to be feeding hay on the ground here pretty soon. More likely to use the hay bags I have for traveling until they go and supplement tubs for grain feeders. We'll make it work somehow. Will also be turning some of the dairy groups out to the main pastures once the beef cows are gone. That will help lighten the feed bill a bit too up until someone gets a foxtail in their eye and needs treatment.
