if anyone recalls my other threads i have a 10 month old billy i borrowed from a friend to breed to my doe. i have noticed since i had him a little cough going on. its a dry cough and its not constant, but i feel like i have heard it more so the longer i have him. i have not exposed my doe to him yet, hes in solitary with my turkeys right now. i think i read to give ivermectin for a dry cough, but i want to double check if thats what i should do. whats causing his cough? and howcome ivermectin is what people use? do i use the injectable or paste orrr?
he was wormed with cydectin the day i picked him up which was not quite 2 weeks ago. is it still ok to give him ivermectin? would the cydectin have taken care of the cough also, could this be something else?
my doe is due to cycle soon so i will have them together, im hoping to clear this up before then so i wont pass anything around here.
thanks!
