Ugh, forum doesn't save post edits...
Trying again...

Going back to my water idea.
Gotta cut holes, so don't want to just buy n try.

Bit wide and unfortunately edible plastic.

I'd have to learn how to weld, but it'd be $1 each out of this. Others are a bit wider, similar cost.

Almost perfect, except expensive and a bit short on length.

Wider than I'd want. The divider may be an issue.

There's no dimensions on these. Worse, they're cheap thin tin. Even the heavier aluminum ones "rust" through easily enough. Not worth wasting money on. :(

Hmm, I have galvanized flashing....!!
I use it for urine guards and hopper extensions, so, why not try origami with metal??

Made a paper template, then the metal one. Took about 30min.
It should fit my "1×2" wall wire cages. Which aren't actually 1in by 2in, go figure...
Most of the others would have to be "1×1" inch or I'll cut the wire to be 1×22. Most likely, that's what I'll do, as folding gets much more difficult to hold n fold the smaller I go.

Like this paper one-
About 2-3in inside the cage, rest outside for the bottle. Hoping to use the slighly bigger milk bottles instead of these water ones.
Will add wire to hold the rear up, bottle in place and the front wired down. 🤞

So, what's the point, you ask?
Rabbits are disgusting. They love to stand in the water and toilet in it! This dumps a lot of water every day into the tray under them, and makes their water unfit to drink, every, freaking, day!
Also, it takes up a ton of room! And since I wire them down, bc rabbits dump the bowls immediately, it makes cleaning them out very annoying and time consuming!
This should give them only enough to drink out of, wee kits and adults. Babies can't really drown in it nor hide/get stuck behind it either!

What about bottles and nipples and cups??
All have failed. All leak. Nips have too much pressure and guzzle tons of water all over the rabbit and pan. Bottles always develop drips. Cups loose their seal, making them drain.
Flooded trays are a huge, heavy, disgusting, immediate shower needing mess!
I really hope this works out!!

Culling Royal tomorrow morning. Developed extreme sore hocks on all 4 feet and couldn't get it to heal. She aborted this morning, too. One of her kits definitely has thin fur, behind the others and a little bloated. Hopefully one of the other kits will be worth replacing her.

Such a shame, she was so promising with lovely fur, albeit a bit wonky shaped from the top...Wider feet than most Rex.

Pinkie toe raw from thin fur, but at least it's cute and friendly.

9 in the freezer for cull buyer, Royal gone.
Moved Malty, her kits and her foster litter from Buttons, to the outside cage. Tons of room for them now.

Guilded is getting lots of nibbles, but no takers yet. Same with Buttons. Due a nest on Thursday. Seems to feel preg, so not letting her go now until kits wean.
