Raven(formerly 2nd blackie), bred to Tar and Lefty.
Had kits today. Pulled some fur in cage and had one kit, then decided to use the nest properly. Warmed up the cage born kit and put it with the others.

Currently $1,565 in the green.

Malty, 4+ growouts to go in freezer tomorrow morning. Gotta figure out which others are going while I'm at it.

Coral on her 3rd litter, 4 or 5 kits. Less kits than litter #2, but all are alive. A lazy nest, though. Lilacs? Castors?
Sire is Rew.

Huge noticeable difference between these two. Noticed by accident, had to get pics.

Two castors, 2 lilacs and one with that odd rusty shimmer to it. I forgot what it became last time, probably nothing special, but odd how they start off different.

So, Buttons got 2 of Steely's kits, 1 vanished, then later, the other went mia!

Seeing the litter now, all are Rex, no Steely kit for sure. Weird how both vanished without a trace, not even decomposed in the nest!

But now Steely has Penny's kits to foster, as well as her own. All are alive, eating pellets and drinking water. Other than Steely's 2 chestnuts and Penny's 2 chocolates, rest can't be told apart. Fur quality and silvering will do that in a few weeks time. Though, being 2nd gen vs pure, it may be difficult if any got lucky with good sf genes.

The swarm of kits! Steely is doing well with the hoard, lol.

Coral lost 2 kits! Just gone! Eventually, found one, dead.
Rebred her. If she fails or if there's a kit to replace her, I'm selling her off.
Then, the castor is actually chin??

That's annoying.
0.78 pound heavier is the broken castor. Booted has better knee=toe lineup, but notably lighter....I think the castor is the winner.



Then these guys...overall best is booted in shape. Solid doe is heaviest, but solid buck has better profile to the solid doe.
Booted doe is the keeper here.
Why does one never have everything.


Both are bad...but tort will be held back.

The black, turned out to be a buck, not great growth and other than profile, a crap shape. He's being listed.
