Goats have problems with blocks - not that they won't use one because they will - they have trouble consuming enough from a block with their smooth tongues.
:hugsI agree with you so I'm just posting this for fun.. But my goats playfully fight for block time.

I think it is a work of art! No 2 blocks ever look the same after they are done "Erasing them".. lol.

They lick small holes next the corners and have licking contests! It is so funny! The hole in the center was from the factory. I love the spike nub licked into this one. I have 5 water stations. This is only 1 of them. I should start a mineral block art work thread. I have a ton of pics thru the years. They all look different.

I have the blocks at the water stations and my goats go from the water to the block, back and forth. It gets the block moist and helps it dissolve onto their tongues faster.

I prefer blocks.. I mean, my herd does..

Thank you ALL! With the weather starting to warm up, I plan to spend time with the goats and observe Annabelle. See what I can see.
