two words. shoot them. shoot the @#$% out of them and then either dispose of them or call the owner over to get them off your property. you have the right to do this, i have heard many stories of people shooting a dog that has attacked thier animals and never getting in trouble for it, so dont worry about that part. those dogs need to be shot otherwise you will lose everything, they have proved that to you already. keep your gun on you at all times so you dont get taken by suprise and not be armed. think of all the money they have cost you and how they have brutally killed your rabbits.. i am a huge animal lover and hate to hurt anything for just doing what comes natural to them but you've got to draw the line somewhere. good luck to you, i really hope you dont lose anymore animals to them.

Hi All,
I'm new here, came from the chicken site...thinking about adding meat rabbits. So sorry for all your losses! We are in SC and have they coyotes in mass and the local/feral dogs. We put in an electric fence and it has kept the coyotes and dogs out completely. We got one that is supposed to be for 10 acres and we have it around less then 1 and burried grounds frequently and deeply. I really hope this helps and that your herd recovers quickly.

That is very sad...and I'm very sorry for your loss.
I don't know how to comfort you...

When we had rabbits long time ago (now I just gave them up),
my husband welded their cages with heavy duty steel.
No dog can force that!

Animal electric fence work very well to keep predators away. Electric fences are much more reliable than a
solid fence. I used to put peanut butter on the electric fence and it enticed the animals to not go near it and
get shocked. That will train them to never again get close the fence.
In your case where you have in very close proximity predators such as bears, coyotes and wild dogs
I would recommend Zareba's animal electric fence.
