Sunday... muggy out... was down to 66, and mostly very cloudy... rain due to come in later this afternoon and into the night. Repeat tomorrow supposedly. Yesterday was partly to mostly sun all day...

Really felt this aching back most all day... someone said maybe a kidney infection??? Guess I need to go get it checked out... but I still think with the headaches and the general achiness it is more likely the tick bite/lyme symptons.

Have the laundry done and it looks like there might be a better window tomorrow to hang it out. I did hang out some of it, since the rain seems to not be coming as fast as they said. There is a slight breeze so it ought to take some of the moisture out of it. I need to check the radar and see what the status it.

Got milk yesterday evening and did a 1/2 gal for DS to take to his father's... see how that goes. The one naturopath type person he has gone to suggested to get raw milk if possible since he will utilize more nutrients out of it... and a list of things he needs to stay away from... to help with the diabetes and to help "feed" the muscles and such that are so weak from lack of use and not eating right... It is Father's day and he is going there in a bit.
His father did give most of his chickens to a young fancier and DS is getting the rest soon. He has given in to the fact that he cannot manage anymore as he falls all the time. But he is also getting some PT finally.... got off his stubborn kick... so who knows if they will be able to help him get back some more mobility... at least he is doing some of the exercises now...and if he gets able to get around better, then maybe he can get a few back from DS... he doesn't want to give them up and it is less incentive to get out there, but constant falls and going to the ER or just for the rescue squad to come is just not good.

Need to check the radar and see what is what... go outside and maybe mow a little.

Tomorrow morning we are supposed to get in the neighbor's cows/calves... sort the calves and take to our barn to work the calves... blackleg, band, fly tags, etc... get it done like at 9 or so before it gets too hot and muggy.

Back in the house... There were rumbles of thunder out there, and I went out and there were a few sprinkles. I took the stuff off the line... some shirts were more than half dry, jeans a not as "wet"... and got in the house just as it started to lightly rain. Radar shows some of this until 4 or 5... then a break, then more... so a wet afternoon. It is raining pretty steady, not real hard... but definitely getting things wet again.

I have one of the hams I picked up on sale, and think I might just stick it in the oven to bake. Then I will have lots of ham for sandwiches and to freeze some for future. It's not cold out... but down to 70, so won't hurt the house if it heats it a little.

No mowing that is for sure.

Hang those jeans in the kitchen while you bake the ham. 😁 I'll assume you have a dry rack

Same weather here. Just started sprinkles ... Rains are coming. Thunder rumbles now & then. Tomorrow more rain, so they say.

I'm thinking I'll go milk, hoping to miss the downpour. It's just a little early, not a lot, it'll work.
