I'm sorry the wind didn't blow itself out at our place, before it got to yours! 😉

I hope you start feeling better soon. That is so wearing! :hugs

I went right on the azithrimycin (sp) for the sore throat and it is already gone... will take the full 5 days though. At least I know that works like a charm for me... always has... erythrimycin when I was a kid...this other is the "next generation"... Now it is just the other flu symptoms... and of course, the antibiotics take it's toll on the gut bacteria, hence some of the causative of the diarrhea ..... SOOOOO aggravating... but that's part of it... The coughing gets me worn out, and the dripping down the throat... but it is better than being so stuffed tight that you can't get it clear enough to breathe.

Wind has finally laid down some. It kicked back up a notch for a couple hours before dark... DS called and said there were 2 big trees down on fence at one place we have cattle (Bartley's) , neighbor has cattle bordering it.... so he was going to shut gates and get them moved into #1 section and they will get moved in a few days... he moved the big group in Aug Co. into #2 (middle section ) and then they will go into #1 and will get moved within a couple weeks if it is going to stay warmer. And he is feeding down at the farm near her house,(middle rd), so they will be coming out before the big group.
I'll call the vet's office on Monday and see when he is going to be down this way again in the next couple weeks... will do the ones we brought home, (6/6 pairs) and the ones from Middle Rd (near her house) (17c/13 cf) and the the ones he moved into #1, at Bartleys (12/12pairs) as one group for the preg check.,... that'll be about 35/40...

There are 41c/43cfs out at the big place... Aug Co.... 2 sets of twins....will do that whole group on a different day....There are some pretty big calves on some of them... It will take 6-7 trips to get them all moved without crowding them....

He formed up and got the gravel and all in, and finally poured concrete in front of the 2 feed bunks, in the lots out behind the barn at doug's.... the cattle were in mud up to their hocks last year... this is where he puts some of the steers he gets together in groups.... and said he was going to get it "fixed" before he put any in there... with all that cold, I wasn't sure he would be able to get it done. So thankful that it is warming up for the next week. It will give the concrete a week or so to harden/cure before he puts any cattle in there... all we have to do is the dividing fence... posts are in....

Deb's finally coming out and I told her I am not getting anywhere near anyone with this flu bug... sorry.... she was supposed to come out on Tuesday, but I never heard and I was not feeling too worried about it for a few days. I had checked the heaters Sunday with the bitter cold coming and all that...

I will get out and get the clothes all rehung tomorrow.. The couple I tried today just got yanked off within minutes.. so tomorrow is good enough. They aren't going to get dirty on the grass... I didn't take the clothes basket out and was not going to walk back in to go back out in that wind... they are good and wet from the rain... just jeans and work clothes. Wind is supposed to drop to a light breeze... and warmer....
Just looked at the 7 day forecast..... 65 PLUS for the end of next week for the holidays... :ep:ep:ep:ep:th:th:th
First day of winter is Sunday.... I think it should have been last Sunday instead!!!!!.... with first day of SPRING coming in end of next week.....;););););) ......CRAZY .......I am sure that am few of our group would like that ( @Mini Horses .....:hide:hide:hide:hide:bow:bow:bow:bow:plbb:plbb:plbb:plbb:plbb )

Need to eat something...

Winds here all day. Steady, strong, unforgiving. Had to manhandle hay -- filled barn racks & they'll have to work it out! Some bully others but, when full, walk. Have 2 locations, move over....🤣

Expecting just light breeze tomorrow -- great! Can get outside to do work again. Been a wasted day inside today. Hard to say what all has blown in/around.

24 overnight... but already near 50 and SUNNY... no wind either... just a very light breeze and the wind chime is barely moving...
I went to sleep in the chair again, so no coughing... got up 2-3 a.m. went to the bathroom and decided to try the bed. I just got back up around 10 a.m. HOLEY MOLEY:ep:clap:celebrate:celebrate:bow:weee.
Finally got a good restful sleep.
I'm not cured by any means, but body finally relaxed.

Going out to rehang the clothes and water the chickens in a few. Got another load in the wash. The next 7 days are sun and partly sun, days in the 50's, up to the 60's the end of the week for the holidays...
I will feel better once I get outside and breathe some clean air.

@fuzzi mentioned, maybe in the coffee thread, about taking the supplements, and how zinc can make her more nauseous...Well, "me too"...... It really works on my stomach. Best thing I have found is to take it at night, eat something and take it on a "full" stomach... I can "sleep off" the queasy it causes...
I also have found to space things during the day... like take 2-3 and then wait another hour or 2 to take others. Too many all at once just does not work good for me...
Also, don't take the antibiotics, like the azithromycin at the same time as the supplements... only have today and tomorrow for that for the sore throat...thank God it is already gone but staying the course on that.... but I take it first, separate... hour or so later I take some supplements...
echinacea and elderberry work together for me... vit C okay... vitamins at a meal... b complex says to preferably with a meal as does the cal/mag/zinc supplement... take the d also... Take some more elderberry and ech in the afternoon...
I used to laugh at the little "pill compartment things" my grandparents had, but for me... they work so I don't mix the ones that are supposed to be taken with meals, and those that can be taken on empty stomach. Plus, in a normal day,. if I get doing stuff at the farm, or whatever... I will forget if I have taken something... this is just a reminder... Instead of the M-N-E, I remarked with Meal / Empty so I can take either if I am just in and remember... and am not eating... or eating and oh sht... did I take this or that...

How did we ever grow our bodies without all these "pills" ???? Mostly because our food had more nutrition in it because our soils were more "fortified" and had more minerals in the soils... And our moms way back when tried to serve more balanced meals... we had meat, potatoes, and at least 1 "vegetable" at every meal....
Honestly, I don't cook that way for just me on a regular basis... just for myself alone. Should, but often don't. Usually a meat and 1 veg.... at least I am not a big bread/roll person... not alot of filler stuff...
But many times it is "easy" and not always the most nutritional meals....
Normally, much of my food is from my own garden, so hopefully healthier than some... and it is nearly all my own meat.... and eggs... but even the chickens are not out free ranging with the hawk/predator situation... maybe once the "skids" get on the bottom of the pens.... more varied diets.....

Sunshine is wasting...
