I now that feelng. DS1 is not sick and has no injuries to overcome like your son but he is 46 now and says he is feeling it sometimes when he puts in a long hard day, particularly running fence or loading all that heavy stuff in the trailer. It's hard for me to see him as getting older since I am so young still. I wonder why others age and I do not. Except for my back, knees, occasional lack of balance, etc. . . . .

I found recipes for alpha gal, there are recipe books too. Look on Amazon.
Thank you for the tips... several have pork in them, and dairy/butter/cream in them also... some substitutions could be made I am sure. I am going to try the pumpkin pie recipe that I printed off... Eating very plain for awhile.... and I do not like curry so most indian type recipes are out. I do use avocado oil and balsamic vinegar and have found that the simpler the better right now... since I seem to be on the "high end" of reactive to most things, I am going back to very plain... miss my "fried apples" due to the butter in them.

I am ordering a couple of the books on the complexities of Alpha Gal Syndrome... AGS..... because I am tired of conventional medicine just blowing it off... Thanks.
