Wow. That's from the dog attack? I'm so sorry for him. Horses do compensate for lack of vision in one eye, but it makes things tougher obviously. Glad to hear that other than that his other wounds are healing.

The dogs have been put to sleep. They were new renters, the dogs were not suppose to be on the property. We found out later this was not the first time the dogs had attacked. They had killed a pig and goat prior.
Yes, the vets said that dog bites are horrible. They have so much bacteria, they cause horrendous infections.
They have seen far worse than this. We will see how he responds to treatment, go from there. Brownie absolutely loves my daughter. Once he woke up from being sedated he was nuzzling her hair.

80% of Brownies corneal ulcer is healed! He has vision again. His eye is still cloudy. The vets are really happy with his progress. Recheck in 2 weeks. He is still on all the eye medication just reducing the amount of time we have to do it.
All other wounds are almost 100% recovered.
