Mowed leaves this afternoon. I added shredded leaves to my main iris bed, one of the carrot beds, and the remainder (Gorilla cart full!) split between the chicken runs.

It should, we're just expecting frost, not a hard freeze.

The car had heavy frost on the roof and back window this morning, I AM SO GLAD I covered the young plants! The turnips probably would be fine, but I want the carrots and cabbage to get a little bigger/stronger before the temps go below 30°.
