Hmmm. You make a few loaves & freeze?

I like oven baked but, for just me the bread machine is fine. Smaller loaf. Tastes great.

Speaking of that "smaller" loaf I noticed Wonder has a "mini loaf" out. Looks 1/2 loaf size -- sit down!! Priced at $3.& Change :he. Really?? I laughed and thought, do they think we're that dumb?

What a list and things already crossed off (endorphin cross offs!)!!
Milk in bread - must be a sweeter or softer loaf?? I'm just a sourdough type as it's the only kind that I have success with. Regular yeast breads are hit and miss (miss=doorstop  ). I've got bread on my list as well.
@Mini Horses $3 a half loaf-ish -- ouch but better than here. I look through the bread aisle and just shake my head.

Well, I buy very little bread! Eat very little. But, I do like Italian boule when on discount at WM. Usually .86 per --- I often use for a sandwich, then bread pudding :drool Have to use up milk! Tomorrow I'll make a loaf since tonight I'm cooking a roast, so there will be sandwiches for lunches next week at work.

I like Dave's multi seeded but not at $5+ a loaf. I toss seeds in my home loaf while it's kneading. 👍. Often just some of the "everything bagel" jar of spice stuff, plus pepitas.

Y'all in CA pay more for everything! 😄 Everything!!

It was 9am. I thought I could do some mowing before the ladies' tea, oh, 30 minutes. I mowed the second half of the backyard, the part I didn't have time to mow before the storms rolled in. I looked at my phone, 9:50?
:ep
I dumped the mower bag in the chicken runs. I showered, dressed, and off I went, was 10 minutes late but I wasn't the only one. Enjoyed the speaker and the little cakes that were offered.

Sewing machine cabinet was still unsold. It's now in the back (feed) shed until more of Ron's stuff goes out the door. No issues.

Time to finish the data transfer, bbl.

I didn't get the bread started, but it still was a productive day.

SD card items were copied to laptop, now being copied to my external hard drive. Then I will remove them from the laptop.

New phone is currently receiving all the data from the old phone.

I picked roughly a hundred green and wax beans, froze them plus the beans I picked the last few days, a total of 9 freezer bags.

Watched The Preakness, what a finish.
I was not rooting for Journalism, but I was impressed by his determination and heart. He deserved to win.

The only time I have made bread before was with a machine that did it all. The machine died and I never bought another.

I will definitely freeze some, and if it's edible, take some to my coworker.

The recipe that came with the Dough Girl lists scalded milk as an ingredient. I hope I don't wind up with four doorstops!

Got the bread done here - experiment looks good. Slicing will be the true test.

experimental on the left sour dough on the right.
Experiment was just using yeast no starter - worked the rest of the time as if it was sour dough.
