I wasn't going to do anything, just putter after work, but I did want to trim the fig tree. I noticed that one of its branches was over the new gutter, something I don't want damaged.Nothing like the oasis of your garden, chickens, flowers and fountain after a hard day at work.

After
I put the branches in the runs, let the chickens investigate the leaves and little green figs for a couple days.
But since I had both pairs of loppers, I trimmed sprouts, saplings, and vines along the section of fence that separates the front from the back yard.
And I kept going...
...along the north side property line.
See the piles?
And kept going...
I pruned all the goat food along the fence, up to the first cedar. I also used the loppers to trim small stumps closer to the soil line, even removing some. That will make it safer to mow.
Naomi is still on eggs, Day Two. That puts a possible hatch date around June 23rd.
Kentucky trip is T minus 11 days and counting...
