I've never tried it myself - but I've heard of folks blowing an egg & filling it with something staining (mustard dyed blue and such) to find out who's eating eggs.
I've heard of that as well, but haven't tried it. Mustard is supposed to taste terrible I was told.

Game camera?
Thinking about it.

Didn't go to church this morning, headache is gone but "bleh" feeling from overheating yesterday is still there. I've been walking outside every hour, checking on the flocks. No egg yet in the Dominiques' coop, though Esther kept trying to "set" in the wheelbarrow. She left when Silas hopped in with her! :\

No eggs, not sure if it's just an "off" day for laying, or I have an egg eater. If the latter I need to break them of the habit.

Let's see if this works...

I blew out an older egg, and filled it with the strongest mustard in the cupboard. Then I took part of an eggshell and glued it over the hole, don't want the mustard to leak out!

I mowed after I got home from work, despite it being 90°. I resisted the urge to do more than around the coops and the sheds. I stopped at the raised beds, I didn't want to make myself sick again.

It still was a full bag, which I split between the coops.

There's something just, special, about a freshly mowed yard...
