Here's an overhead view of Naomi and her brood, so big! Still not roosting, but it might be partly due to the adults hogging almost 8' of roost. Brats. I need to redo their ziptie leg rings, too.

I'm not optimistic about chick #6. It drinks, but only when I dip its beak in the water. It swallows but not easily. I put its beak in some wet crumble mash, but it doesn't eat. I suspect there's underlying issues, possibly neurological.

Poor little fella.

I candled the two unhatched eggs, then opened them. One chick was about halfway developed, but the other looked as if it was ready to hatch, but had just died. Oh well.
