Seriously, she is very good about using the box, and her scratching pad.

But she used to climb the woodwork as a kitten. :rolleyes:
Well, just shows you that she was a healthy, normal kitten...lol Kitten, scratcher, climber...it's all synonymous...😂

Going outside now to check the fig tree for more fruit, and give the fruit scraps to my flocks.

Also have cantaloupe and squash seeds to share, num, num.

This afternoon I found a shelless egg in the run. First time. The hens have plenty of oyster flakes and egg shells...not sure what's up.
One of my girls laid those once in a while. I wasn't sure which one and I didn't know why. Something lacking, or more likely something blocking the ability to absorb the calcium.

Occasionally it's just how it was pushed thru the system....oops. Similar to the occasional tiny marble sized egg with a shell & no yolk. Hens can be stressed & have a bad day. 🤷. So long as you're not seeing this on a regular basis, don't sweat it. It's ok.
I get fairy eggs once in a while, too.
