I also printed a couple pictures of a full grown BB OEGB roo, and attached them to the outside of each basket.

What a handsome breed!

Brilliant move, using a laundry basket!
Lots of craptastic containers, hay string bindings!

It's the last auction of the season, and they're already stacking them high.

See my boys? I attached pictures of what they'll look like as adults. I'm glad I used feedbag tops. Now the chicks won't get 💩 on.

Two hours until it starts...I might go sit in the car and snooze.

$5 and $3 for the roosters, take out cost of the laundry baskets and auction fees, is it even worth taking them to auction? Since the auction insists on the laundry baskets, do they insist on the buyer paying for the laundry basket or does the seller keep it and it's buyer bring their own?

You must contain them to bring & sell them. I see same methods here, as well as larger cages full -- cages NOT part of buy, announced at sales. Most buyers bring a few folded up cages with them.

The prices reflect the lessened interest in bantam, I suspect. Large roos here get $10-15 each, often planned for dinner fare.
