If there is a shop that services tractors and mowers and such... they might have a smaller tire to fit the other water tub....
No 15 " tires are not as common. Our co-op can get some in... and they do alot of tire changes for lawn and garden tractors and such... It's stupid for these little cars to have 16" tires...

Long story short:
  • Shelter will not hold dog for me
  • Shelter is not open tomorrow
  • Shelter can take my application after 1pm on Wednesday
🙄🙄🙄

Typical government bureaucratic 🐂💩
That's so ridiculous. You'd think they would do whatever they can to work with people to place them in homes that want them.
Praying he'll still be there on Wednesday. :hugs

Exactly. And the poor dogs get PTSD the longer they stay in the shelter.
:hu

I am planning to leave work on Wednesday by noon, so I can be waiting at the shelter door before 1pm.

I had to stay late for a meeting at work, which was even later because patients were added to a blocked clinic, and the chair of our meeting worked past the time we needed him to be there. Then the physicians kept talking, but I had to stay until they were done. I am tired, worked 12 hours.

I am NOT going to miss it. Ten days to go.

I got home, it was almost 6:30pm, dark, cold. The feral cats are hungry, no one thought to feed them?
:hu

Then I saw my chickens had cleaned out their feeders, no one thought to check, top them off?

The flocks were roosting, I was upset thinking their crops were empty on the first below freezing night of the fall/winter. I took some shredded chicken and BOSS out to the coops, wore my headlamp. Sussex just sat, stupified, but the Dominiques woke up enough to eat some. Good.

Then I dragged plastic sheets out of the shed, over to the gardens, covered the planting beds, and attached the sheets as best as I could.

Finally, I brought in the rest of my house plants, several trips from the front porch, around to the side door, up the steps.

Ron would have helped. I miss him.

:hugs:hugs Things like that make you appreciate the little things...and miss not having someone there to "think of it".... NOT having to do it all yourself... and "kids" that do not think ahead for your stuff, but will think to do for other people... yeah, I get it...

I'm so excited for both of you. 💗

I'm glad you're almost done with that 4 letter word place.

I can't even begin to fathom, how much! :hugs :hugs :hugs
