Hello from Missouri!

I've joined this forum and BackYardChickens after lurking around for awhile. Both sites are wonderful!

My husband, our son, and I live in the Missouri Ozarks. We currently have only fruit trees, a vegetable garden, rabbits, and dogs but have plans to add ducks, chickens, and goats soon. Who knows what else.

I look forward to chit-chatting on the board and "knowing" you all!

You MUST have goats, chickens, dogs, horses, but especially GOATS.

Hi all;

Thanks for the welcome! I agree - must have goats. Now....hmmm...deciding what goat (would like a dairy breed) - I like the coloring of Toggs, but also Saanen and Alpines. And I like the size of the Nigerians. Leaning towards Nigerians. Though....would it be terrible to have a bit of a mixture? LOL

Both BYC and BYH have a wealth of information at your fingertips...it's just going to take a LONG time to get through it all.
