Chillin' with the herd
Hi,
I have been on byc for a while now so I thought I should try out this form too.
I have 3 horses- blk/wht spotted saddle horse, chestnut /wht paint, palomino tennessee walking horse.
They are all older late teens geldings.
We will be moving to our own farm next year on nc.
Right now I live in wv taking care of my granddads retirement farm that it looks like he will not beable to enjoy in retirement after all.
So we plain on getting a few cows for meat and a pig or two.
I already can food and we do a big graden every year.
Were have fruit trees and grape viens too.
I have cut back on my chickens and other poultry in plains of our move, but I still have plenty.
So with all this going on and what we would like to get I figure I better brush up on cows and pigs and whatever else we end up with on our dream farm.
So please forgive me if I ask something stupid as I'm trying to learn& relearn all of this.
Thanks ahead of time for any and all help.
Best Wishes to everyone.
