I got to watch Hera alert at Black Vulture swooping low over fields. I yelled at it too. Then I gave Hera some scratches and good girls. She designed to accept them.
Today, she walked at my side and let me stroke hand down her back as I let ladies out. I think beginning of shift and end of shift are the times she allows touching. Middle of day she won't, I guess I'm distracting her from the sheep.
Hera did good yesterday morning with babies. I don't think I posted that. Everyone was locked in for night shift when Hattie LPH21 lambed. Babies were loving on mama and about half afterbirth was cleaned up when I did morning chores.
