Hi from North Texas! Yes, this last storm was lousy. I hope it didn't kill everything I've already planted. We covered the garden beds with a bunch of straw, but now it's the waiting game.
My English peas were planted in January, been snowed on twice, iced stormed and I was able to cover them up with oak leaves and protected them. This morning they were encased in ice. The warm weather lately had them shooting up about 8" and starting to climb. This morning they looked like they had been on an all night drunk and got caught out in the storm. They laid over real pitiful. This afternoon, ice was gone and they were perking up.
