No not yet. I need to pass all the testing first. Next I meet with the transplant team, and then more testing.
When I meet with the transplant team, if I get that far, I will ask about him. I am getting my blood drawn on 1/16. Results will take 2 weeks max.

As someone with 3 siblings that have kidney disease (5 transplants between them and one is back on dialysis) and as a living donor myself, I applaud you! Even if you don’t make it through the testing, just your willingness to give up your kidney is amazing.

My kidney went to stranger as part of a big chain so that my brother could get a kidney (we weren’t a match). It was 15 years ago November ‘25.
