New to this thread. I have my Racka fleece still. It’s hung from a rafters in the barn since 7 July. It’s long and weedy. Is there anything I can do with it ( besides the Bigfoot souvenirs I joked about)? Racka fleece is coarse and used mostly for rugs View attachment 121709

🤷🏽‍♀️
Make rugs or a blanket for on top of bed covers, needle felt or wet felt items from it?
Wash a chunk and see if it looks and feels any better once clean.

Thank you. Looks like a wash tub project. You likely know so much more than I do. All of what I know is from literature where there is an off hand (pun :sick) mentioned of a hand spindle to tame stubborn fleece. One thing is for certain the production of clothing whether wool, linen or cotton took a LOT of work. May we all take a moment to be thankful for modern clothing.

Now we wait for it to dry, then weave it in and see if I need more.
