jersey and holstien cross?

jersey/black & white holstein cross.

The tongue is normal for jerseys and crosses. If I could get Cheer to cooperate you could see that her tongue is black on top and pink on the bottom too!

dairy farmer down the road said thats what he figured the cross was because of the weight he was at 3 weeks old ....he was 105 lbs

It will definately be better meat. Our homegrown beef is so much better than the store stuff. My doctor told me to make sure I get enough iron with my RLS but, to watch how much red meat I eat because of the fat. I laughed. I had just browned and canned 11 pounds of hamburger and there wasn't any fat to drain off.

looks like the addiction is taking a good holt.

didn't get a friend for howie yet.they only had 4 calf's,only one was a heffer i stopped bidding at $55 she sold for $65.my wife gave me ok to bid on bulls next friday....i think she sees he's lonely to.

$65 is cheap for a heifer.when i was buying calves id give up to $125 for heifers.am $80 for bulls.
