We are sad to announce that we need to sell one of our heifers. We are selling Honey, our pure bred Jersey heifer. Honey was born September 10, 2011 (she is 19 months) in Southern Oregon (on Kristi's farm). She was raised on her mom 24/7 for six months and then she was weaned. At that point we brought her to our farm where she has had daily access to fresh pasture, a mixture of valley hay and Eastern Oregon orchard grass hay. She will stand in a stanchion for us to brush her, rub her, play with her feet and legs, and doesnt jump at all when we touch and rub her udder. She also comes (running) when she is called to the barn. (She likes to be called Honey Girl when she is in the pasture). She was horned but small horns (about 1) have grown out. Her grand dam would give 10 gallons a day with calf at side.

Honey was tested by the UC Davis Veterinary program and was confirmed as being an A2/A2 cow.

Honey is a beautiful spotted Jersey and has beautiful spots on both sides. She loves to be scratched, is curious, and has not shown any mean traits at all.

At this time she is open. We would be able to get her bred to a highland bull. There would be a $100 charge for this.

We are asking $1900.
