I agree with @BrownSheep, they are great dogs and have heart but when it comes to an attack.... What happens when the coyotes don't get scared off easily? That is a lot on an aussie.

Most tibetans in the states are show dogs...... not many are used for LGD's in the states. Great pyrenees, Anatolian, and Maremma's are much more common LGD's here in the states.

My Aussie is a dummy that attacks our Great Pyrenees. Guess what? If we weren't there to pull them apart, our Aussie would be killed. Has happened twice, we keep them separated. Last time was few weeks ago, Aussie squeezed between my feet, ran out and jumped on GP. I pulled GP off her, but she kept attacking. I was screaming bloody murder, DH came running and grabbed GP,I grabbed Aussie and threw her in the house. Trip to vet and a staple in her head to close gash, she's fine now, but an idiot. She might be a force, but she still loses.
