Baby girl is doing ok, she's starting to gain her weight back but still not back to birth weight. Kid 1 is very excited about baby sister and wants to hold her and pet her head. Kid 2 is not that jealous yet, but doesn't understand he can't climb all over mom when I'm holding the baby. He just wants more momma snuggles.

I'm getting used to the broken sleep again, baby is sleeping around 3 hours at a stretch.

I was able to get into the garden for a short while yesterday. Hubby welded the trellis onto the structure, now we just need more concrete panels for the rest of the raised beds so I can finish putting in the grapes. The oldest one is loaded with baby grapes so far, I guess the plants really like not getting attacked by deer all winter.

Kids keep getting us sick. I'm struggling to get baby to latch, so have been pumping. Now I'm struggling to stay ahead of how much she's eating. She is eating close to 4 ounces per feed. She sleeps a little longer at night, so I'm almost getting 4-5 hours at night. I had hubby get formula when he was out yesterday. I'm hoping to not need it but she's eating everything I pump, I've only been able to keep one feed ahead of her.

Kid 2 won't keep his hands out of his diaper, can't figure out how to make him stop. Are clorox wipes safe to use on the kid or not? Been scrubbing him and his hands with dawn when I catch that he's been doing it. Got him out of bed this morning and gave him a shower, felt a bump in his hair but thought it was a scab, took him to the front room to get him dressed and it was a tick! Thankfully it wasn't swollen and hubby was able to get it off intact. Can't have been on there for long but we are baffled as to where it came from. Kid 2 wasn't outside at all yesterday. Checked the dog and puppies, no ticks. I wrapped the tick in a paper towel, smacked it with a hammer, and lit it on fire inside the ash bucket.

Kid 1 and 2 are signed up for swim lessons this week and next. I'm hoping we all will be healthy by then, this place doesn't do refunds.

They sell hydrogen peroxide wipes, they might be safer than bleach.
