5hr drive later…
I am minimally moved into the apartment. It rained from Fort Worth to Waco and then sprinkled as we hauled stuff upstairs.

Looks like a nice place. I’m so glad you got the job and didn’t leave Texas!

We had a ton of fun! Walked around Kemah boardwalk for the fireworks and very late dinner. One of the officers directing traffic let the littles sit on his quad.

What a fun time. Sure was nice of that officer to let the kids on his quad!

My first day at work was great. Everybody is really nice. There is a ton of room for improvement on reliability. I get to pick out my own desk and such since office used to be the maintenance shop copier room, LOL.

Work is going okay. I learned an interesting fact today. Apparently if you break your nose too badly you can’t a half face respirator to seal. LOL, good thing work mainly uses a full face respirator.

I am sore. Between second story apartment and water aerobics in complex pool, I’m either going to be fit or . My knees are definitely voting for the second option.

That or you end up with a deviated septum that the VA will refuse to fix with only being able to breathe out of one nostril, such as war.

I think the worst part of this household split is waking up to Dominic’s low DexCom alarms and not being able to help. I get to sit and watch graph to see when his numbers start coming up or Alijah replies to my text. And trying decide if it’s low long enough to start calling his phone and the house phone.

Ugh, F diabetes!!! Especially sticky lows like tonight!
