minerals for llamas

My new llamas won't lick the mineral block and i can't find loose minerals for llamas anywhere. Could they get all the minerals the need if I just grind up the mineral block?

More than likely they won't lick the mineral block. There are Stillwater Minerals or Golden Blend minerals. You would have to order online though.

My llamas love their mineral block! Sometimes it's just a personality thing in animals.. one likes this - another one doesn't.

There are loose trace minerals made for llamas; you'll have to research in your area to find who carries them or where you can order them from.

There are also llamas feeds that have the minerals and vitamins in it already... in pelleted form.
