Well I was incorrect, she is 6 weeks old, will be 7 this next friday. So this should be fun! I'll get her the CDT tomorrow and try to feed her now. Wish me luck!

Update!
She will NOT take a bottle nor does she like the trough idea, or bucket, or anything else. :he
She is however 'suddenly' eating hay with everyone else and eating the grain I give her separately. She doesnt seem hungry and she is still just as playful and lively. I am wondering if maybe she is getting some milk from the momma Nigerian Dwarf I currently have as she came from the same farm and know each other. Maybe she nurses with the baby nigerian dwarf? But I am not sure and have not been able to observe it happening. Should I be concerned she isn't taking the bottle/milk or just let it be? Thanks so much!

:hide I don't want to tell you something that would be wrong or harm her, but if she is eating hay and grains and isn't loosing weight or energy I would let her be. But I'm new and that could be the wrong choice so I would wait for a veteran to chime in lol

I would let her be, she will probably be fine. However... you could hold the Nigi and see if she will nurse. I have a little doeling that was raised by another doe when she wouldn't take a bottle at 3 weeks. At first I had to pen the doe against a wall or in the milk stand but after about a week of that the doe adopted her, she didn't have any kids of her own, as I sold them at 3 days old. They are bonded now.

Even if you could get her to nurse once a day that would be good. But if not, she will be fine.
