New from Colorado

[Sweet Daisy]

Hi, I'm Marti. I have a quarter horse, 2 cats and a Painted Desert ewe. I board my mare, Andrea, on a 12 acre ranch where she has bonded with Daisy, the 1 yr. old ewe. The two are inseparable and their relationship fascinates everyone who visits the ranch. Andrea thinks she has a foal --- not sure how being socialized by a horse is going to effect Daisy. Ive studied natural horsemanship for several years but hair sheep are a whole new territory and I'd love to learn more about them. I'm happy to find such a friendly and knowledgeable forum.

I've uploaded a photo, but can't figure out to make it my avatar. Help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the info. That's what they must mean by "Personality" because when I click that it says I can't utilize that feature until I have 10 posts. I suppose the title under the avatar is also part of that. I'm in Denver, but board my horse in Parker.

One more post and you can get that avatar.

The title under the user name is specific to your "post count" on the forum. If you want the ability to change your title you can consider a Golden Herd Membership.

Welcome to BYH. I just joined too, I am in CO as well, we live up in Conifer. We just brought home some goat kids and finding this resource was so nice!

Looks like spring is here although they were calling for snow tonight!

We are in Coal Creek Canyon area in Golden. We get a lot more snow up here but we love it so much up here, it is worth the extra shoveling.
