Yes. We're going to be just fine. I know it's going to be tight and it might even get rough but we'll make it work no matter what because there's no way we could be a little over a month away from celebrating 40 years together and just say well now what do we do just give up. That doesn't work for anyone. My house also smells like a mix of chocolate and lemon cake. OMG

Damn - two cakes - you're an inspiration!! I only did bread yesterday and that's a no brainer one bowl wonder.

I'm going to make a homemade frosting for the lemon cake and I still need to bake more cakes and maybe some cookies because I don't want to toss out more eggs. I need to decide what type of frosting I want for the chocolate cake but the lemon cake is going to be a thinned down lemon icing. I'm also going to make an orange flavored cake.

Toss eggs?? Wow. You know you can share with others and they freeze just fine if you scramble them, a touch of salt, freeze raw.

When I've got too many, everyone else is not wanting more, I hard boil & feed back to the flock, shell & all. I smash them before feeding back. Good for the hens. It has never created an egg eater of raw ones.

Whiner is gone today because he killed my rouen Aladdin and my fawn Indian runner Aerial. Poor little Prince Charming is walking around the yard looking for them and calling them.

Well unfortunately I couldn't catch all of them so I got 2. I'm hoping they're both hens because I would really like to see if they will brood some eggs because I don't have an incubator.
